At DPD, we love to share the amazing things our people do! 🌟 Our incredible Brooke Newby (Secretary to our National CRM) recently took the plunge for Make A Wish, jumping out of a plane from an astonishing 12,000 feet at Headcorn Aerodrome. Her experience? "A mix of nerves, excitement, and pure adrenaline!" From the exhilarating freefall to the breathtaking views after the parachute opened, it was unforgettable! (Though she's "not so sure" about doing it again! 😉) The best part? Brooke's incredible courage has raised a staggering £2,088 (including GiftAid) for Make-A-Wish® UK! 🎉 This fantastic sum will help grant even more life-changing wishes to critically ill children. Teams from two of our Midlands hubs faced off in an epic race to the top of Mount Snowdon, but it wasn't for bragging rights—it was for a wish! 🌟   With a 5am start and a grueling climb, the competition was fierce, but ultimately our Hub 5 team raised their game, reaching the summit in just 2 hours and 45 minutes! 🏔️ Together, our teams raised nearly £2,000 for Make-A-Wish® UK which will be matched by DPD, bringing the total to nearly £4,000, this will help grant special wishes for critically ill children. A massive thank you to everyone who laced up their hiking boots and donated to this incredible cause.
