Birmingham, here we come! Tonight we're heading to Birmingham for the UK and Ireland Green Gown Awards ceremony in association with UK Research and Innovation, and we can't wait! This year, we have 112 finalists from 76 institutions across 14 categories vying for a coveted Green Gown Award. It's not often that you get to celebrate sustainability and give achievements the recognition they deserve - tonight is reserved for just that. The Department for Education has launched a call for evidence on how teachers in further education (FE) are trained and supported early in their careers. This is a key moment to make sure sustainability, innovation and evidence-informed practice are part of that picture. We're bringing members together on 20 November help shape a collective response. We want to hear from everyone involved in FE, whether you deliver teacher training, support new educators, or work on embedding sustainability across your curriculum or campus.
