💰 LGBTQ+ mental health provider Allswell has raised $1.3 million in pre-seed funding led by Amboy Street Ventures, with participation from Seae Ventures’ Unseen Capital, Techstars and other investors. The company, founded in 2024, offers virtual therapy specifically designed for LGBTQ+ adults and currently operates in Maryland. Allswell plans to use the funding to expand into additional states, develop digital tools and grow its therapist network. 🚽 Connected health company Withings has launched U-Scan, an at-home urine analysis device that integrates into toilets to provide continuous health monitoring. The device is now available in Europe and the United States, following more than seven years of research and development. U-Scan fits inside the toilet and automatically collects urine samples using a thermal sensor. The device analyzes samples on-site using biochemical sensors integrated into an interchangeable cartridge. 💍 ŌURA has published findings from one of the largest longitudinal analyses of pregnancy-related physiological changes, using data from more than 10,000 pregnancies tracked with Oura Ring. The study, published in JMIR Publications mHealth and Uhealth, examined how key health metrics evolve from preconception through pregnancy and postpartum. The research analyzed anonymized data from Oura Ring Gen3 users who self-reported pregnancies between May 2023 and November 2024. The round included new investors LocalGlobe, Airtree, Skip Capital, ALIAVIA Ventures and Scale Investors Pty Ltd. The company, co-founded in 2021 by former Canva product leaders Georgia V. and Kate Lambridis, previously raised $10.15 million in a 2022 seed round. The certification enables commercial launch across Europe for the device, which provides operator-independent measurements of cervical tissue biomechanical properties. 🚀 Period tracking app Clue has become the first major cycle-tracking platform in the #UK to integrate prescription healthcare services, offering users free NHS-funded #contraception. The new feature addresses significant access barriers in the #UK, where nearly half of women struggle to obtain contraception and one in 20 patients wait at least four weeks for GP appointments.
