Today is #WorldMenopauseDay , organised by the International Menopause Society to raise awareness of the support options available for improving health and wellbeing through the menopause. Here at GSA, we’re passionate about supporting our colleagues who are experiencing menopause or andropause. We have a Menopause Support Group which meets monthly, which is a community of colleagues and a safe place to discuss, share advice and seek support for all menopausal related issues. 👥 This week, we’ve been proud to share personal menopause experiences from colleagues on our intranet, helping to foster a culture where everyone feels empowered to speak openly and support one another. 💜

October is Black History Month, a time to celebrate Black history, heritage, culture, and the iconic figures who have contributed so much. This year’s theme, standing firm in power and pride, honours the resilience and strength of Black communities and the vital contributions they’ve made to society. Throughout the month, our Equality, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) Forum has been actively raising awareness among colleagues by spotlighting iconic Black figures throughout history. We also heard from our Strategic Asset Manager, Sharon Murphy, who spoke about why Black History Month is so important to her. Let’s continue to learn, reflect, and celebrate together. ✊🖤 #BlackHistoryMonth #EDI #colleagues

Over 150 GSA colleagues tuned in for this very poignant discussion with many sharing their own experiences and offering support to each other. 💬 A huge thank you to David for leading such an inspiring and thought-provoking conversation.
