During our three-day comeback to the city last month, one of our key focuses at Manchester Fashion Week was to create public-facing events, opening up the experience to all fashion lovers, not just those working in the industry. Closing the week in true Manchester style, The Club Preloved took over The Dome at ABC Studios with an inspiring showcase led by Lauren Cooley and her incredible community. Together, they brought to life the world of preloved fashion, vintage furniture, and lifestyle finds - all infused with creativity and heart. With live acoustic music, an upcycling workshop, and expert styling sessions, the event captured the essence of sustainable fashion - proving that style doesn’t have to be new to make an impact. We’re proud to have made preloved a part of the Manchester Fashion Week story - celebrating the pieces we already own, the ones we rediscover, and the future of conscious fashion. #ManchesterFashionWeek #TheClubPreloved #SustainableFashion #ConsciousStyle #CircularFashion #FashionWithPurpose
About us
Manchester Fashion Week perfectly captures the city’s essence as a unification-esque style hub, where fashion meets culture, music, and individuality. Known for its rich heritage in textiles and its vibrant subcultural fashion, Manchester’s streets overflow with stylistas and fashionistas who reflect its rebellious, style-defining spirit. This is a city where thrifted couture meets high fashion, merging bespoke creations with vintage treasures. The dynamic fashion scene mirrors Manchester’s music evolution, showcasing how style has transformed over decades, from punk and rave culture to today’s sustainable and inclusive movements. By hosting Manchester Fashion Week, the city becomes a stage for celebrating the designers, conscious influencers, and creativity that make it unique - highlighting exclusive, conscious, and diverse fashion in a way that resonates deeply with its progressive and iconic identity.

It’s hard to believe it’s already been four weeks since The Arrival - the moment Manchester Fashion Week stepped into the city with bold energy, raw creativity, and a sense of purpose that went far beyond the runway. We’ve taken time to pause, reflect, and process the magnitude of what unfolded. When designers, innovators, change-makers, models, and creatives come together, something truly alive begins to move - more than fashion, it’s culture, collaboration, and creativity in motion. The feedback from guests, brands, and industry leaders has been incredible. In the coming weeks, we’ll share some of their words - voices that remind us why we're doing this, and how powerful fashion can be as a force for good - in connection, inspiration, and change. While the silence on our feed may have seemed quiet, behind the scenes it’s been a creative process on how we build on what was birthed. We’re already deep in planning for Manchester Fashion Week 2026 - envisioning a show that’s bigger, bolder, and more inclusive than ever before. One that continues to champion sustainability, creativity, and the authentic Manchester spirit that drives innovation. To everyone who has been part of this journey so far - from our designers and sponsors to our incredible attendees - thank you for believing in what we’re building. The evolution starts now. Manchester Fashion Week 2025, a week I'll never forget! I had the absolute pleasure of working alongside some of the kindest, most talented people I've ever met. The creativity and passion in this incredible city of ours is nothing short of electric. It wasn’t without its challenges — but with clear intentions, a strong sense of purpose, and a shared "why," we kept pushing forward. By leading with integrity, we built a community and sparked a movement. So proud of what we've achieved Gemma Gratton 💫
Where to begin. Did that just happen Hayley Shaw! It’s been a long time in the making. Long hours, weekends, navigating challenges, and pushing through together - always with smiles on our faces! On behalf of myself, Hayley Shaw and the Manchester Fashion Week team, I want to say a massive THANK YOU to every single person who made this rebirth what it was. Without your energy, input, contributions, and commitment to the cause, this simply wouldn’t have happened. Special thanks to our sponsors: Eco Age - John Higginson, Accenture - Alex Jonas MCIBS & Georgina Snape, Innovate UK Knowledge Transfer Partnerships - Rachel Beach, Shiko Group - Roberta McClarron, Campfield - Alan Tonkinson, Allied London - Tanya Grady, Department | Coworking & Private Offices - John Rowland (CertIOSH) (AIEMA), Cifr.io, Galvia AI - Brian Muldoon, and Ionic Legal Paul Cox. It really did take a village to bring back what Manchester has been screaming out for! Manchester Fashion Week was built on grit, perseverance, commitment, belief, and trust. And of course, it would never have been what it was without the incredible talent and craft woven into these three days: Jay Bowen – our Runway Producer and magician behind the most exquisite looks, with his amazing hair artists and MUA team. Sarah Bates – our Sound Director, the wizard behind every beat and emotion of the runways. Lauren Robertson – our Production Director, stitching flawless seams into every detail of the running order and production. Amie Tran – our PR fairy and powerhouse, driving national and international coverage. A heartfelt thank you also to Paul Foulkes-Arellano and Elizabeth Scott MBE – our MFW Non-Exec Directors – for being such vital pillars of support, growth, and direction. Thank you Ines Bahr for being our official MFW photographer capturing all the magic! And of course, all the wider Ninety Degrees North, working so intrinsically behind the scenes: Chris Borkin, the OG of graphics, Georgina Barnard, our human AI, and so many more who poured in their purpose and talent. This is just the beginning of something very special for Manchester - and we’re so proud to have brought it to life! #ManchesterFashionWeek #SustainableFashion #Innovation #CircularDesign #FashionTech #Heritage #Community #Purpose #Circularity #FashionForGood #LocalMakers #Innovation #InclusiveFashion
