Day 1 offered an in-depth look at how the global display market is adapting to the challenges of 2025 - and where the next opportunities lie. UK altnets face a critical challenge: converting their rapidly expanding FTTP deployments into active subscribers amid a highly competitive market, according to new Omdia research. In this analysis, Omdia's Senior Analyst, Diana G., notes that “As the UK fiber market becomes increasingly crowded, the battle for subscribers will intensify. Altnets can no longer rely solely on network availability. Differentiation through seamless switching processes and flexible pricing promotions will be essential to capture customers from established players”.
