The global leader in Crypto recruitment.

About us

Since 2017, we’ve been helping Web3 founders build teams fast. From our bases in London and Miami, our 45-person crew makes 300+ crypto hires a year. We're big enough to deliver but small enough to care. Scaling fast? We can spin up delivery squads, share shortlists in days and fill multiple roles at once, all without lowering the bar. With 600k blockchain pros already mapped and 100+ live vacancies at any one time, we know who’s ready to move. Deep specialists Every consultant here owns a single vertical. That means if you’re after Rust engineers for Solana, a DeFi BD lead in the US or a founding marketer for a ZK rollup, you’ll speak to someone who gets it and knows the tech, the top 200 candidates and the market rates. One point of contact You’ll still have one consultant running with you from first chat to signed offer. They’ll guide you on comp, equity splits, location… while the wider Plexus team takes care of sourcing, vetting and scheduling in the background. Trusted across Web3 We’ve helped teams like zkSync, Lido, Celestia, Filecoin, dYdX Foundation, Frax, Maple, Berachain, Sophon, Omni, Plume, The Sandbox (and plenty more) hire across DeFi, Layer 1s, Layer 2s, ZK, GameFi, RWAs and everything in between. No nonsense Our technical interviews, onchain checks and culture screens filter out fake CVs and cloned GitHubs before they ever land in your inbox. 🌎 Hiring in crypto? • Is it a primary school party or is it Plexus pumpkin carving time? This was the first of a series of events we are running to raise funds for The Wickers Charity - a non profit based in east London that supports young people from disadvantaged backgrounds reach their full potential. Do you think Zeth Couceiro picked the worthy winner? PS if you’d like to hire Dominic Lang to MC your next party or school disco word is that he is happy to be paid in strawberry laces or blue panda pop

  • Most founders underestimate how hard it is to hire a great crypto CTO, until they’ve burned 6 months trying. Why? - Good CTOs don’t often leave for a pay rise alone. They move when they believe in what the company’s building and want a stake in it - The ones at early-stage projects are some of the busiest people in the world, often passive candidates (meaning they need to actively be headhunted, they're not out looking for roles) - The best CTOs are usually co-founders already. Why would they leave their baby? We've headhunted CTOs who were never planning to leave, until they hear the right story. Finding them is hard, and convincing them to leave a project is harder. We do both.

  • Asked Mitchell Dart what the current Crypto hiring trends are on our Zebu Live - UK's Flagship Web3 Summit panel yesterday > Institutional Sales and Legal & Compliance hires are on the up Roles replaced by AI like content writing, some design & video are on a downward trend Resumes: Be clear on your experience, avoid AI slop & ensure you outline tangible wins achievements under each role you have worked. When hiring: 'Hire slow, fire fast' - More on this topic later but in short, once you have strategically planned a hire and have a clear vision for it, move with speed and intent. It's competitive to hire right now!
