Some of our lovely customers got stuck into some autumnal arts and crafts this week, thanks to a fun session organised by our Independent Living Officers! We had a chat with Barbara about what she thinks about living at Campbell Place. Here's what she had to say: "I'm a people person so it's nice having lots of people to talk to and we always have a chat and a laugh. Last week, we had the pleasure of celebrating our incredible colleagues at our Annual Recognition Awards event, and what a celebration it was!    The event brought together a group of truly inspiring individuals and a guest of their choice for an adrenaline-fuelled day at Thruxton Motorsport Centre and dinner. It was a great way to mark the contributions and positive impact they’ve made.      These individuals have gone above and beyond, living our values to make a real difference through their dedication, passion and teamwork. We were delighted to support our partners Hart District Council this week at an open day held at Campbell Place, one of our extra care housing schemes in Fleet. It was a fantastic opportunity to welcome visitors, including the Council’s Portfolio Holder for Housing and Community Services, Councillor Peter Wildsmith, and showcase the scheme. We also really enjoyed catching up with so many of our wonderful customers - thank you to everyone who joined us!

A fresh new look for Laburnum House in Hedge End! Our older persons scheme been thoughtfully updated with new carpets, furniture and a brand new salon, creating a welcoming space for customers to enjoy a little pamper time We've also added a craft room and quiet room, offering comfortable spaces for creativity and relaxation. We loved working with pupils from New Milton Infant School and New Milton Junior School to name our new affordable housing development, in partnership with AJC Group - Montgomerie Rise! 🏡 Inspired by local history, the winning name was chosen from more than 50 creative entries. Tristan Samuels, our Group Development and New Business Director said “We’re pleased to be working with AJC Group to bring much-needed affordable homes to Barton-on-Sea. It’s fantastic to see the local community, especially pupils from New Milton Infant School, play a part in the development. Halfway through the financial year at VIVID, we’re staying resilient and focussed on our vision and ambitions to continue building trust, pride and impact for our customers and communities. We love hearing what makes our customers' houses feel like home 💛 We asked Jenny what her favourite thing about her home is: “I’ve lived here for 54 years. I love everything about my home, it’s all my favourite. I love the rooms, how cosy it is, it’s just a lovely house. I’ve loved it since the day I moved in.” It’s wonderful to hear how much her home still means to her after all these years 🏡
