We've taken a look at Skills England's latest assessment and here's what you need to know.⬇️ The report projects strong growth in advanced digital roles over the next decade. 📈 Programmers, software developers, IT business analysts, managers, and directors are expected to see the largest increases, with demand stretching across multiple sectors from manufacturing to finance. It also highlights gaps in progression, particularly from further education into high-level digital roles, and signals the need for pathways that keep pace with emerging specialisms like AI and cyber security. Advanced digital skills will remain central to the UK’s growth ambitions to 2030, and preparing for this demand early will be critical.
