Here’s the 5-step content strategy I use: 1️⃣ Know your audience. Start with their pain points and goals. Build around that—not vanity metrics. 2️⃣ Set clear goals. Your content should be working toward something. Think: inbound leads, investor interest, email signups. 3️⃣ Prioritise quality over quantity. 10 average posts won’t beat 1 high-value guide. People remember value, not volume. 4️⃣ Be consistent. Not daily. Not trendy. Just consistent. Use a calendar. Batch your content. Create a system. 5️⃣ Track what works. Double down on formats that convert. Ditch the rest. Without strategy, content is just noise in the market. With strategy, content becomes a 24/7 salesperson. The most underrated influence tactic? Make it easy for people to like working with you. As freelancers, business owners, founders, we get so focused on complicated funnels product roadmaps social strategies content plans etc. that we forget that in the end, people do business with people. And if people like working with you, you'll get more work. Turns out there is research backing this intuitive idea. The Liking Principle is one of the six universal principles of persuasion. People are more likely to say yes to those they: Share similarities with Find physically attractive Receive compliments from Have positive emotional experiences with “We like people who like us and who make us feel seen.” ~ Robert Cialdini So take care of yourself, be kind, smile, and treat people with respect and gratitude.
