All-NEBL Team '99

Coaches of all teams, which participated in the Northern European Basketball League Promotion Cup '99, selected All-NEBL Team '99:

Eric Elliott, "Plannja Basket" Lulea (Sweden)
GUARD

Topped all League players in scoring (27.56 points per game) and free throws percentage (100%, 33/33).
Also ranked 6th is steals (2.11 steals per game), 7th in 3-point shooting percentage (47.83%, 33/69) and 10th in 2-point shooting (58.16%, 57/98).
Led his team to unexpected Final Four appearance and was named the NEBL Most Valuable Player '99.

Andrius Giedraitis, "Lietuvos rytas" Vilnius (Lithuania)
GUARD

Led the League in 3-point shooting percentage (55.17%, 32/58), while placing 2nd in 2-point shooting (67.09%, 53/79).
Also ranked 3rd in NEBL in scoring (24.42 points per game), 5th in free throws shooting percentage (91.92%, 91/99) and 6th in assists (4.33 per game).
His club "Lietuvos rytas" participated in the Final Four and placed 3rd, defeating "Plannja Basket" in the 3rd Place game.

Edgars Sneps, "ASK Broceni-LMT" Riga (Latvia)
FORWARD

Ranked 5th in the League in scoring (19.30 points per game), 3rd in rebounds (8.30 per game), 7th in free throws percentage (87.88%, 29/33), 8th in 3-point shooting (47.83%, 22/46) and assists (4.10 per game), while also being listed in Top 20 of all other categories.
His team "ASK Broceni-LMT" placed 2nd in the NEBL Promotion Cup '99, losing only by 2 points in the Final game to "Zalgiris".

Saulius Stombergas, "Zalgiris" Kaunas (Lithuania)
FORWARD

Although being one of the leaders in the top NEBL team "Zalgiris" Kaunas, Stombergas didn't play much in the Promotion Cup '99 competitions, averaging only 20.7 minutes per game.
Nevertheless, he ranked 9th in the League in 3-point shooting percentage (46.51, 20/43) and 3rd in his team in scoring (12.67 points per game).
He also had very good assists-to-turnovers and steals-to-turnovers ratios (both higher than 2).

Eurelijus Zukauskas, "Zalgiris" Kaunas (Lithuania)
CENTER

Topped all NEBL players in block shots (2.58 per game).
Also ranked 4th in the League in 2-point field goals shooting percentage (64.38%, 47/73), 11th in rebounds (6.50 per game) and 12th in steals (1.75 per game).
His team "Zalgiris" won the NEBL Promotion Cup '99, beating "ASK Broceni-LMT" in the Final game, in which E.Zukauskas collected 14 points, 14 rebounds and 5 blocks.
