Department Of Pure and Applied Sciences
The Department has strong links with its industrial and professional partners thus ensuring that our courses are at the leading edge of scientific and technological developments. The staff in the Department are well qualified and dedicated to ensuring that each individual student reaches their full potential. There is a well established tutorial programme which is valued highly by our students. Students exiting from our courses are very successful with most securing entry into well paid careers. The
Department of Pure and Applied Sciences offers a very wide range of high
quality courses. The Department is located in the Appleton Science Building
(named after Sir Edward Appleton, world renowned Noble laureate for physics)
which provides excellent accommodation and facilities for our students.
The Appleton Science Building, the result of a �4 million investment has
excellent modern laboratories, salons, lecture areas and an open access
Science Workshop containing a wide range of electronic and paper based
resources.
