The pacy youngster, who can also play out wide, represented Afan Lido before joining the club's Centre of Excellence.
Thomas has represented Wales at both Under-17 and 19 level and was called in to the Under-21 squad for the double-header against Luxembourg in March 2009, but didn't get on the pitch.
