There's a trick to keep it from breaking
I have been searching for a dental floss that is vegan*, plastic-free, and compostable, and Green Beaver is the best one I've found. It is not as strong as nylon of course, but the trick to preventing breakage is to always use a fresh section with the wax intact in the tightest spots, and don't pull it so taught when working it in and out of the space. Sometimes it still shreds on me, but I've been using it for 6 months and it's only happened a handful of times.

Super No Plastic Product
I have been trying to find a floss which is not plastic and works well. I guiltily liked the plastic glide products which were given to me from the dentist but they do disintegrate and leave bits of microplastic in your mouth every time you use them (ewww!!). That is so unhealthy. This is the BEST and healthiest alternative floss I have found and I have tried quite a few. It has a nice glide to it and does not cut the gums. It is as good as the plastic based glide products I was trying to match. Worth trying if you are looking for a helathy alternative to the unhealthy, wasteful, plastic products. It really feels so good when you are finished using this.. your mouth will thank you!!

Great zero waste product.
I've used corn based floss from other companies and find this to be better and cheaper, with true zero waste packaging. It does shred some, like all corn based floss, but the wax improves its performance Silk based products are still superior for strength, but much more expensive. I'm willing to put up with some shred for a zero waste earth friendly product.

Floss ripped apart while using
First time using this floss and I'm not a fan. The floss would rip apart before I finished flossing my entire mouth. I would not purchase this again.

Great floss!
This is great plastic-free floss. And plastic-free packaging as well. The floss does not break easily, so I have had little to no issues with that. It has a pleasant taste and the plastic-free packaging is genius. I also like that the floss has a bit of texture so it removes stuck on tartar better between my teeth. A win. Highly recommend.

This dental floss is perfect fit for spaces between my teeth. Because it is biodegradable I dispose of it in my municipal compost waste. Cardboard container more environmentally freindly than regular plastic containers. Best of all….MADE IN CANADA.

Not easy glide easy rip
I wanted to love it but it was a complete fail for me. It is not easy glide is more like easy rip and got stuck on my tooth. I have a small mouth with tight teeth so this floss was not a match for me.
