Bu çalışma, John Zerzan'ın "Gelecekteki İlkel" kitabını inceleyerek okuyucuları ve araştırmacıları bilgilendirmeyi amaçlamaktadır. Kitap, tarımdan itibaren teknoloji yardımıyla doğa üzerinde kontrol gücü sağlayan uygarlıkların kültürel dönüşüm süreçlerine ve öznenin öldüğü yeni bir gerçeklik olarak postmodern çağa odaklanmaktadır. Bu bağlamda, zaman anlayışının ilerleme ve gelecek kaygısıyla insanları andan ayırdığı iddia edilen kitapta, kontrol gücü tahakküme dönüşerek insanlar arasında eşitsizliği doğurmuş ve gücü elinde tutanın her şeyi meta olarak görmesine neden olmuştur. Uygarlığın en iyi versiyonunun gelecekte beklediğine dair inancın ilerlemecilik fikrini tüm toplumların politikalarına zerk edilmesine antropolojik paradigmadan cevap veren yazar, doğa üzerinde ısrar ederek ilerleyen toplumu gelecekte bekleyen şeyin sosyolojik çöküşten sonra yok oluş olduğunu öne sürer. Zerzan, kurtuluş reçetesi olarak okuyucularına zamandan ve insanı kendi ürettiğinin kölesi haline getiren teknolojiden bağımsız bir ekolojik yaklaşım sunmaktadır. Ekoloji üzerine çalışan araştırmacılar için örneklerle düşünsel bir zemin sağlayan yazar, aynı zamanda farklı bir perspektif sunmaktadır.

The study aims to inform readers and researchers by examining John Zerzan’s book "Future Primitive". The book focuses on the cultural transformation processes of civilizations that gained control over nature with the help of technology, starting from agriculture, and the postmodern age as a new reality in which the subject dies. In the book, it is claimed that the understanding of time separates people from the present moment with the anxiety of progress and the future and that the power of control has turned into domination, creating inequality among people and causing those in power to see everything as a commodity. The author, responding from an anthropological perspective to the injection of the idea of progress into the policies of all societies, argues that societies that insist on progress at the expense of nature are headed toward extinction after a collapse. Zerzan offers an ecological approach independent of time and technology as a prescription for salvation, freeing people from being slaves to what they produce. The author provides an intellectual grounding with examples for researchers working on the ecological and offers a different perspective.

A crítica literária feminista anglófona dos anos 1970 propõe a ideia da matrilinhagem, segundo a qual o encontro de mulheres escritoras com suas mães literárias representaria uma fonte de acolhimento que as permitiria escrever. As gerações seguintes, no entanto, questionam tal idealização das relações femininas, desvelando seus aspectos ambivalentes e menos acolhedores. Se Bachelard (2000) propõe a associação entre as figuras da mãe e da casa delineando os seus valores positivos, Massey (1994) afirma que a casa pode ser também um lugar de conflito. Neste artigo, propomos uma leitura de "Tempest Air Demons", em M train (2015), de Patti Smith, e do poema "Wuthering Heights"([1961] 2018), de Sylvia Plath, com o objetivo de verificar como as autoras trabalham de forma não idealizada com as figuras de suas mães literárias através da figuração dos lugares (Lawrence-Zuniga, 2017) do túmulo e da casa.

Neste texto apresenta-se uma serie de questoes relativas ao tedio que, leva a fuga do sujeito em busca de um devaneio digital que seja mais satisfatorio que a realidade da vida cotidiana. Passando por Freud e outros autores, podemos vislumbrar que ainda estamos em um terreno de incertezas e em construcao. De um desejo inicial de Alice, nossa personagem, e navegando pelos questionamentos, espera-se que a reflexao seja iniciada no leitor para acompanhar a pesquisa que nao para de ser lembrada, repetida e trabalhada por meio disso.

El objetivo de este trabajo es proponer la existencia de una relación transtextual de hipertextualidad entre Shame (2011), película dirigida por el director británico Steve McQueen, y American Psycho de Mary Harron (2000), adaptación cinematográfica de la novela homónima de Bret Easton Ellis (1991). El fundamento de esta hipótesis descansa tanto en la similitud de los respectivos argumentos y de los recursos cinematográficos (estructurales, transtextuales y retóricos) empleados en las dos películas, como en la intención artística de los cineastas. En un trabajo subsiguiente, se identificará y analizará una serie de citas intertextuales de diferente procedencia también presentes en el filme de McQueen. La superposición de diferentes discursos convierte a Shame en un rico palimpsesto transtextual que proyecta su propio significado a partir de la suma de las significaciones de sus textos subyacentes. O ensaio discute os deslocamentos da palavra museu na novela A invenção de Morel (1940), de Adolfo Bioy Casares. Mediante esse exame, procura cavar uma relação entre os mitos miméticos e a máquina de Morel, na ilha museu. Um dos objetivos de pensar a produção de imagens e sua circulação
ininterrupta é discutir os sentidos que podem conter o museu, enquanto edifício material e simbólico. No ensaio, esse regime imagético se aproxima dos deslocamentos da palavra museu, via a clássica interdição: proibido tocar! Por último, discutir (à deriva) os usos do museu, na novela de Bioy Casares, é uma tentativa de propor outros métodos para a escrita da história da arte que exponham, ainda que implicitamente, o colapso da representação.

This article draws on relational psychoanalysis to reinterpret Ovid's version of Narcissus and Echo as a means to reflect on the dynamics of how subjects connect to others and themselves through listening. Attuning to a long tradition of scholarship, we understand Ovid's tale as a rich template for contemplating the difficulties of becoming social. We underline how both protagonists take on essential roles in each other's transformations. While acknowledging how each actor's unique biography creates an intrapsychic vector, we highlight the effect of their encounters in their mutual becoming. We illustrate how the relational space between them plays an essential role in their development as they overcome their unique difficulties in connecting to each other. Our relational-psychoanalytic analysis offers a surprising interpretation, namely, that Narcissus and Echo can ultimately overcome their isolation and connect through their transformation. This illustrates the potential of relational psychoanalysis as an interpretative tool that allows us to understand social dynamics as a product of a relational space in which intra-psychic representations encounter and transform each other, thus contributing to ongoing discussions on the concept of relational subjectivity.

Dans l'oeuvre de Salman Rushdie, écrivain migrant par excellence, la notion de transposition, qui consiste dans un premier temps à « faire passer ailleurs, ou dans un autre domaine », ne peut qu'être cruciale. Si le terme de transposition n'apparaît pas explicitement sous sa plume, on trouve néanmoins celui, récurrent, de « translation ». Pris dans son acception anglaise, celui-ci présente l'intérêt de mettre en lumière les deux facettes inhérentes à la transposition. Outre son acception spatiale, la transposition induit en effet également l'idée de transformation puisqu'elle consiste à « faire changer de forme en passant dans un autre domaine ». Or « translation » renvoie d'une part au déplacement et au glissement dans l'espace mais aussi, à travers la notion de « traduction », à l'idée de changement de forme. Rushdie établit d'ailleurs une relation directe entre ces deux notions puisqu'il insiste sur l'idée que la translation spatiale induit toute une série de transformations ou de traductions : traduction de l'être (ou de l'identité), de la lettre (ou de la langue) et traduction de la forme romanesque. L'identité est en effet au coeur des processus de transposition. À l'image de leur auteur, les personnages dans les romans de Rushdie sont sans cesse soumis à des translations géographiques, ils voyagent, émigrent, se déplacent selon des axes verticaux et horizontaux 1 . Or les personnages translatés sont invariablement traduits, c'est-à-dire transformés, comme le constate le narrateur migrant de Shame : « I am a translated man, I have been borne across » (Shame 2 29). Rushdie va même plus loin en faisant du migrant, figure emblématique de ses romans, un mutant. C'est peut-être dans The Satanic Verses 3 que Rushdie a exploré de la manière la plus approfondie l'art de la transposition. Les migrants y deviennent des êtres monstrueux, révélant à même leur chair, portant à même le corps, les effets de la transposition, comme si, en perdant la fixité dans l'espace, ils avaient aussi perdu la fixité de la forme. O texto analisa o filme 'Stalker' de Andrei Tarkovsky, explorando como o diretor subverte as convenções da ficção científica através do personagem-título, uma espécie de guia místico para uma experiência transcendental na era científica. Examina o papel do ritual e da devoção em contraste com a filosofia nietzschiana, ao mesmo tempo que analisa os recursos cinematográficos que Tarkovsky emprega para tornar o espectador partícipe da narrativa. A construção metafílmica revela uma reflexão sobre a essência da criação artística, onde conteúdos são continuamente rearranjados no caleidoscópio de uma objetiva que nunca se deixa esquecer.

O movimento entre as vivencias como artista e o que posso transmitir na condicao de professora de danca e o fio que da suporte a esta pesquisa. Minha tese esta sendo construida para investigar qual o status da coreografia na Graduacao em Danca no Rio Grande do Sul. Para tanto, lancarei mao de observacoes e entrevistas com professores do referido contexto. Contudo, foi a partir de meus procedimentos em sala de aula e tambem como artista que o assunto principal se fez. O corpo que danca e cria e o mesmo corpo que ensina. Esta dissertação investiga o unheimlich -em português, 'estranhamente familiar' -, conceito psicanalítico desenvolvido por Sigmund Freud, em obras que fazem parte de 4 (quatro) séries do trabalho do artista plástico Attilio Colnago: "Do Retorno às Meias Verdades", "10 + 1 Perigosas Maneiras de Amar", "Minas das Liberdades Gerais" e "Diálogos com a Paixão". Aproxima as obras do artista -já tão conhecidas por seus aspectos principais tais como a presença da figura humana, os espaços interiores, o sagrado em um contraponto com o profano, e as memórias -do estranhamente familiar. Para tanto, pesquisou-se a bibliografia ligada ao tema, que teve como ponto de partida o ensaio de Freud de 1919, "Das Unheimliche",traduzido para o português como "O Estranho" -e prosseguiu-se através de escritos de outros autores que se interessam pelo conceito de estranhamente familiar, trazendo-o para a contemporaneidade e associando-o a outras áreas do conhecimento, entre eles Nicholas Royle, Anneleen Masschelein e Anthony Vidler. Com base na teoria estudada foram selecionadas, dentre as séries escolhidas, as obras mais significativas em relação ao tema para serem analisadas. Busca-se desvendar e analisar um lado ainda não investigado da obra do artista e ao mesmo tempo mostrar a importância de se estudar o conceito de estranhamente familiar no campo das artes plásticas. Este artigo propõe uma análise sobre a representação do mal no conto “Johnny Panic e a bíblia dos sonhos” (2020), da escritora norte-americana Sylvia Plath. Considerada uma das maiores escritoras da era pós-guerra, Plath possuí uma obra quase que inteiramente centrada em temas que derivam do mal. O universo plathiano é repleto de referências ao suicídio, à solidão feminina e à angústia de viver em um mundo pós bomba atômica. Diante disso, empreendemos uma investigação sobre como a entidade Johnny Panic, descrita pela narradora do conto, pode ser considerada como uma alegoria ao pânico que dominava a sociedade norte-americana no contexto pós segunda guerra mundial do século XX. Sendo nosso principal objetivo mostrar como Plath utiliza os mecanismos do Fantástico na construção da entidade sobrenatural que serve como representação do mal na narrativa. O artigo é construído através de uma pesquisa bibliográfica de cunho analítico-qualitativo, no qual foram utilizadas as teorias sobre o mal, abordadas por Bauman e Donskis (2013), Bataille (2017), Ginzburg (2013), Eagleton (2022) e Freud (2011); além de estudos que versam sobre a literatura fantástica, debatidos por França (2011), Jeha (2009), Todorov (1981) Jackson (2007) e Roas (2014). Assim, percebemos que o modo Fantástico é utilizado na descrição da entidade maligna do conto como metáfora para as mazelas do pós-guerra, pois é um modo narrativo que está diretamente ligado com os tabus e medos de uma época e, neste conto de Plath, ele é utilizado como efeito potencializador de horrores vivenciados na realidade.

This is a meeting point between philosophy, literature and rhetoric with the purpose of finding out whether life is worth living or not. The literary device known as oxymoron is brought into within the context of the absurdist theory and by extension the theatre of the absurd.  The conclusion is that individuals make their own choices in the face of the vicissitudes of life, deciding whether to fight back or simply go with the flow. In other words, they decide whether the proverbial bottle is half-full or half-empty.

The aim of this thesis is to outline a new concept: negative faith. Negative faith is an unsayable, unknowable faith without an object, a form of energeia that explains the existence of what can be called impossible texts. Negative theology, Valéry’s Cahiers, Bataille’s more mystical works and Laruelle’s non-philosophy all revolve around non-referents such as God, the One or the Real. Nothing can be said or known about these non-referents, and yet this corpus is written almost exclusively around them, creating a seemingly unsolvable paradox. This thesis argues these texts are completely empty in an epistemological sense, but that their essence resides beyond the words themselves, the texts undergoing a form of self-destruction upon being read. They are radical heresies that disregard the traditional framework of reason, logic and scientific positivism to explore what in humans does not belong to the World. Taking root in both theological and philosophical traditions, from Pseudo Denys to Meister Eckhart, from Plotinus to Derrida, this thesis attempts to translate into academic terms the mystical and unfathomable role of this negative faith that unites these authors in what can be called an idempotent, immanent community.

Este trabalho se propõe a analisar comparativamente as obras Justine, do Marquês de Sade, e Psicopata Americano, de Bret Easton Ellis, com foco em seus personagens monstruosos e no sadismo do leitor. Patrick Bateman é, sem dúvida, um sádico, , aos moldes dos torturadores de Justine do romance sadiano. Compreendemos o sadismo como um tipo de monstruosidade. O monstro humano é o mais cruel e temeroso de todos, pois apresenta nosso semelhante, o que indica que o perigo está mais próximo do que poderíamos supor. Porém, por sabermos tratar-se de ficção, podemos fruir da narrativa, já que aquela ameaça não é real. Sentir prazer com as cenas de morte e tortura tornaria o leitor sádico. O sadismo do leitor, evidentemente, não é o mesmo dos personagens. Ele possui essa liberdade por estar protegido pelo pacto ficcional. A monstruosidade, conforme aponta Jeffrey Jerome Cohen (2000), representa um constructo cultural. Tanto Sade quanto Ellis denunciam, em suas obras, as hipocrisias de suas respectivas sociedades, a saber o século XVIII francês e os anos 1980 nos Estados Unidos. Os libertinos e o serial killer incorporam os medos de suas épocas. Diferentemente de obras com teor sobrenatural, aqui a ameaça são tipos influentes e respeitados socialmente. O monstro humano nos faz encarar as próprias falhas humanas, como um espelho, e por isso se torna tão assustador.

Identity, often conceptualized as a continuum of the ego, lies at the conflux of both individual and collective interpretations of reality. The constructions of reality and identity are, however, far from being a purely cognitive trait; both are constructed through interaction with others, to the point where faulty interactions can lead to a lack of individuation, and the echo chambers of the Manosphere can skew a subject's interpretation of reality. The postmodern turn of cinema after the 1980s, acknowledging this relativism, presented deeply pathological characters in a more nuanced way, giving way to ambiguity. Bret Easton Ellis's American Psycho's Patrick Bateman is a pathological character who is described as having pathological traits but who has nonetheless been adopted by the Manosphere as an idealized role model. This article aims to comment on the mythical subversion of the myth of Narcissus in the narrative, the identity problem that Patrick Bateman suffers from, and to disentangle the processes whereby the Manosphere is misappropriating classical myths, mythologizing narrative characters to phenomenologically construct a different perception of reality, and how these problems are linked with an unrealized identity.

The article deals with the question of the possibility of a new interpretation of Picasso's picture entitled Crucifixion, which was created in the context of the art paradigm shift in the 1930s when the master focused his attention to the return to painting as a reference framework of myth and religion. But this return was only a turning point towards a modern understanding of the world and art from other sources. It should be noted that the problem of pictorial turn nowadays has a strong impact on the postmodern theology, which encompasses various cultural traditions, and also quite opposite philosophical attitudes. The article shows, thus, the inner relationship and connection between painting art and the search for transgression in the language that was the idea of Bataille. In the first part of this article, author tries to show the consequences of Bataille's thinking of transgression; the second part has attempted to articulate the problems of interpretation of Picasso's canvas Crucifixion; and concluding remarks is an attempt to review the emphasis on relationship with pictorial turn and transformations in the notion of contemporary art concerning the body as a sovereign event of the freedom and sacrifice.

O interesse pelas formas de aproximação que as artes têm manifestado ao longo dos séculos remonta, bem o sabemos, à Antiguidade. Tanto filósofos quanto poetas e outros artistas têm procurado refletir sobre aquilo que aproxima e aquilo que distingue as várias formas de expressão artística, ensaiando modos de relação biunívocos, que permitam aprofundar a especificidade de cada forma de arte e ao mesmo tempo comprovar a unidade que preside ao seu conjunto, enquanto atitude fundamental do ser humano, transfiguradora da realidade: «a arte são todas as artes», sublinhava o famoso aforisma de Étienne Souriau. Na verdade, não apenas a relação entre elas tem sido explorada, como também a influência que exercem umas sobre as outras, nomeadamente nos fenómenos de transposição intersemiótica, como é o caso da passagem de um livro a filme (ou vice-versa), comummente apelidada de "adaptação". Por outro lado, este tipo de abordagem tem revelado a sua inegável fecundidade, do ponto de vista hermenêutico, uma vez que se encontra ancorada naquela perspectiva que assenta na convicção comparatista de que o conhecimento é, por inerência, relacional, dinâmico, necessitando de permanentes reajustes que passam, necessariamente, por confrontos de vários tipos. Ora, ao considerar a relação entre a literatura e o cinema, tais constatações ganham uma particular relevância, antes de mais pela vastidão que o fenómeno assumiu praticamente desde o nascimento da Sétima Arte, no final do século XIX, ao verificar-se que o ímpeto narrativo manifestado nos primeiros ensaios com a imagem em movimento (basta lembrar, a título de exemplo, um dos filmes primitivos que estreou o uso do raccord para criar a ilusão da sequência, como foi o caso de The Great brought to you by CORE View metadata, citation and similar papers at core.ac.uk

This paper intends to discuss the notion of intimacy presented by Peter Sloterdijk and the effects of digital technology on the interfacial relationship. The objective is to show how the articulation between psychoanalysis and phenomenology presented by the German philosopher contributes to understand clinical and everyday phenomena. Through previous studies and clinical situations, we will show how the substitution of the conjunctive logic to a connective one, as presented by the Italian philosopher Franco Berardi, has generated ties that are not deeply rooted in bodily experiences. Descriptions of temporal and bodily experiences are central to understanding this change that is occurring. In this sense, we conclude that the facilities of the technology can generate a forgetfulness of the interfacial space as a memory and a gateway for the world. In the late twentieth and early twenty-first centuries, globalization has significantly influenced gendered experiences worldwide. While scholarly attention has predominantly focused on women’s lives and marked gender identities since the seventies, there remains a conspicuous gap in the exploration of the phenomenically “unmarked” gender and particularly men’s identities and the unique challenges they face. Drawing upon a diverse array of texts and ideas from cultural theory, this book delves into crucial issues surrounding masculinity; the shame, struggle, precariousness, and predicaments inherent in navigating the expectations of being “a man” in today’s era of neoliberalism and globalization. Through the lens of the main characters in novels by Bret Easton Ellis, Jonathan Coe, Yann Martel and Christos Tsiolkas, all from the anglophone sphere, the narrative illuminates these often overlooked facets of masculinity crisis. The book seeks to contribute to a deeper understanding of masculinities today, shedding light upon the vulnerable nature of the masculine experience.

The article concerns various aspects of autobiography as they have been introduced by Jacques Derrida, who himself used the term “autobiographical” to refer to his philosophical writing. Unlike most scholars who stress the link between autobiography and philosophy in Derrida’s writing the article attempts to link it primarily to the “literary”. In this endeavour, most attention is paid to the numerous metamorphoses in which “death” structures and haunts (auto)biographies and our thinking about the genre. Here, the greatest influence, apart from Derrida, was Maurice Blanchot. “Death” and negativity figure at many levels of autobiography, where, unlike in a fictional narrative, they cannot be suspended easily: they can be found in the question about the very usage of language and its relation to the autobiographer, in the construction of the “I”, and in the medial situation of the literary. The article concludes by suggesting a potential transformation of the autobiographical practice brought about by techno-cultural changes and developments regarding both the “archive” and “media”, which are transforming the status of memory, legacy, and the past.

Many of us, I believe, have not heard the term “Yuppie”. If you have then good but I certainly didn’t know about it until recently. I came across this term when I scrolling through reels, a famous Sigma trend featuring Patrick Bateman, 27-year-old yuppie/serial killer, looked by some as a hedonist, greedy, and ecocentrist and by many as Rich, crushingly charismatic, intelligent, powerful, beautiful, and Successful at everything they put their mind to power and status.

The term Yuppie originated in the 1980s, once used to refer to young urban professionals who were successful in business and considerably affluent and now universally referred to as Individuals with lousy values and I half-heartedly at least believe Yuppie has become a term of abuse for profound reasons.

This project seeks to do a comprehensive critical analysis of the term Yuppie.
This project aims to split the subject into two sections. The History and meaning of Yuppie will be examined in the first section of this project. The Cons and My views will be examined in the next half of this research.

Since Ovid’s version of the Narcissus narrative, numerous readings and re-narrations have emerged across the globe that are related to the ancient myth of the beautiful youth who unwittingly sees himself in a pool of water and eventually dies staring at the insubstantial image. Generating a wide spectrum of reinterpretations of values, ideas, and aesthetic aspects inherent in the ancient narrative, its reception history has continued to elicit some of the most diverse intellectual responses to Greek and Roman mythology, each of them reflecting the cultural context in which they were produced. The present article is devoted to this issue, providing introductory perspectives on the Ovidian narrative and its ramifications by giving particular examples, especially of works taking up central themes of Ovid’s version, such as reflection and deception, illusion and (self-)cognition, passionate love for another and the incurable desire for oneself. Ovid's work represents Echo in turning from bodily to bodiless shape, from the talkative voice to the surplus of voicelessness. Being punished to repeat the end of the sentences of the speaking-other, Echo is the ultimate figure of metamorphosis and of wandering-always lost in repetitions, always lost to be found in écriture in stone, in engraved narratives of the other, as a ghostly identity of the other. Therefore, Echo is a decentred, meandering voice-a voice only until there is any voice at all. Being the undercurrent of speech, Echo is a figure of fragmented, dismembered, detached speach, a travelling postcard on an errant, wandering course. The mythical Echo creates a sonorous ground to be written upon, only to be multiplied. Belonging to nobody , she is always on her way to die away and close, a voice-thing destabilizing the voice-subject. This research paper deals with the mythic figure of Echo in terms of Gayatri's notion of "deconstructive embrace" and the concept of the subaltern. Can Echo's "fragile auricle" be aligned to "non-mimetical" identity, to multiplicities of repetitions in conflict to the voice-subject, the same and the different at once? Or, if Echo "has no identity proper to itself", as Spivak puts it, what can be lost and found in echoland of identity, in the political space of "the catachresis of response as such"?

This is a response to the questions asked by Franco Passalacqua and Federico Pianzola as a follow-up of the 2013 ENN conference. The discussions that originated at the conference were rich and thought-provoking and so the editors of this special section of «Enthymema» decided to continue the dialogue about the state of the art and the future of narratology.

"Fictions of Proximity: Skepticism, Romanticism, and the Wallace Nexus" tells the story of a nexus of contemporary novelists around David Foster Wallace who took up the legacy of logical positivism and reworked it between the 1980s and the 2000s in a way that has affinities with romanticism. This book shows how the writers of this “Wallace nexus” use fiction’s complexities to challenge the idea that in human interactions, only complete fusion and transparency may count as instances of knowing. In place of this positivistic ideal of absorption, the book offers the freshly defined concept of “proximity,” a closeness with separateness. It reads key novels of contemporary Anglo-American literature as “fictions of proximity,” i.e., as texts that dramatize, problematize, and enact the movement into this position of proximity. To tell this story, the book draws on unpublished archival materials and understudied connections, advancing new interpretations of four novelists: David Foster Wallace, David Markson, Bret Easton Ellis, and Zadie Smith. "Fictions of Proximity" provides new readings of these writers, both of their canonical texts and of lesser-known works, and situates them with respect to prominent figures in contemporary post-positivist philosophy.

RESUMO: As reflexoes aqui suscitadas e fruto do esforco e desejo de debater as aproximacoes entre literatura e historia como possiveis territorios de interseccao. Na esteira desse fio condutor empreender um dialogo com O livro do riso e do esquecimento do escritor tcheco Milan Kundera, por meio da tematica da memoria e do esquecimento. O dialogo sera conduzido em duas frentes. A primeira relacionada as estrategias totalitarias dos usos e abusos do esquecimento e sua correspondente imediata, a memoria. A segunda frente esta relacionada aos mesmos aspectos, mas numa perspectiva inversa, a das subjetividades, tendo, o individuo como o pano de fundo. Um exercicio que oportuniza cruzar indagacoes literarias que atravessam problematizacoes da historiografia. Da mesma forma, situar a obra num contexto marcado por uma rachadura na episteme e na paisagem do seculo XX, onde os grandes temas da memoria se insurgiriam sobre o debate da historia.

Este trabalho tem como objetivo propor minhas reflexões sobre o conto A Casa de Meus Sonhos da autora Edna o'Brien. O conto traz a história de uma mulher que ao se despedir da casa revisita os seus cômodos que fazem-na relembrar dos acontecimentos e pessoas com as quais os compartilhou. A examinação do conto, no qual a casa é o espaço onde o enredo se desenvolve fez despertar em mim a vontade de entender os processos-discursivos e imagéticos-pelos quais, subjetivamente, a relação da mulher com o espaço influi no processo de constituição de sua identidade, de modo que por vezes os espaços da casa se confundem com a própria mulher retratada no conto. Utilizei-me da teoria de Gaston Bachelard, a qual considera o espaço da casa como um abrigo de constituir-se do sujeito pelo devaneio.
