Manchester dialect Figure 7: Interest in Mancunian by region. This map indicates that the United Kingdom is the region with the highest amount of search volume, followed by searches in Ireland. These results suggest that interest in Mancunian is linked to the Mancunian Way - the motor- way in Manchester. We also note the link between location and dialect. It may refer to the people of Manchester or to the Manchester dialect, also known as the Mancunian dialect. There are regular positives every August, starting in 2004 up to now. Devon, Cornwall and the West Country are popular holiday destinations for the Britons.
