Effective 1 November, the deal extends the reach of Z by HP workstations along with commercial displays, performance accessories, care packs and software including HP Anyware. The agreement creates a focused route to market for advanced workstation solutions while allowing HP and MMT to serve the surging demand from SMB and AI‑first technology businesses. Under the new appointment, MMT will mobilise its nationwide channel of value‑added resellers, system integrators, and managed service providers to deliver complete, AI‑ready solutions pairing Z by HP with NVIDIA RTX professional GPUs, infrastructure from MMT’s strategic alliance ecosystem, and expert pre and post‑sales support. The partnership coincides with HP’s upcoming launch of the ZGX Nano AI Station, their version of the NVIDIA DGX Spark, which ushers in a new product category: Personal AI Supercomputers. The ZGX Nano AI Station aims to “democratise AI”, providing the full hardware and software stack needed for AI developers to build, test and optimise models locally while maintaining security and flexibility. “This is a match made for the market we serve,” said Johan Meyer, CEO, Multimedia Technology. “Partners are asking for the performance, reliability and ecosystem depth that Z by HP brings and they want it packaged as complete, deploy- today solutions. By combining HP’s workstations with our NVIDIA strengths, infrastructure portfolio and national AI specialist team, we’re making advanced computing accessible and practical for every ambitious Australian business.” What the partnership delivers A specialist distribution channel for workstation solutions, dedicated focus on Z by HP performance platforms, commercial displays, accessories, care services and software. Direct access to NVIDIA workstation GPU resellers and NVIDIA Partner Network (NPN) partners – enabling certified, end‑to‑end AI and visualisation solutions for the channel. Expanded co‑branded marketing between NVIDIA and Z by HP with integrated campaigns, enablement and demand‑gen to accelerate pipeline for partners. “HP is doubling down on the innovators powering Australia’s next wave of growth from design studios and engineering firms to AI‑first startups,” HP Australia commercial channel director Chris Hewlett said. “MMT’s specialist reach, NVIDIA ecosystem connectivity and hands‑on enablement make them the ideal Tier 1 partner to put Z by HP in more customers’ hands, faster, with the support and services partners expect.” MMT will distribute and support Z by HP mobile and desktop workstations, with configurations validated for AI development, data science, media and entertainment, AEC/engineering, healthcare imaging and advanced visualisation. Solutions are complemented by HP commercial displays, performance accessories, HP Care Pack services and HP Anyware for secure remote access and collaboration. “Channel partners don’t want a component hunt, they want a performance‑guaranteed, supportable solution they can stand behind.
