Credit: Chris Padgett Arinco has integrated D6 Consulting to strengthen its business consulting and delivery capabilities, launching a dedicated AI Transformation practice. The combined organisation will have about 220 employees across A/NZ formalises an already strong working relationship and brings the teams together under one structure to provide customers with a single, integrated partner for business consulting, program delivery and technical expertise across Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365. Founded in July 2022, D6 Consulting built a reputation in project and program management, business analysis and business consulting, with a particular focus on AI, cloud and data transformation. “We’re pleased to welcome the D6 Consulting team and their exceptional capability in consulting and program delivery into Arinco,” Arinco CEO Chris Padgett said. “This integration combines business consulting and technical expertise in one team. As Microsoft focuses more on AI-led transformation, this positions us to support our customers with both the business and technology outcomes they need and deliver larger, more complex programs end-to-end.” D6 Consulting CEO and co-founder Joanne Spencer will transition into the role of AI Transformation practice lead at Arinco. “Joining Arinco is a natural next step for our team. We have already worked closely together on many customer engagements, and this integration gives us the scale and platform to help even more organisations achieve their transformation goals,” Spencer said. This acquisition follows a period of significant momentum for Arinco, which in 2024 was recognised as the Microsoft Australia Partner of the Year for excellence in innovation and customer delivery based on Microsoft technologies. Arinco continues to invest in expanding its national footprint and capability set to meet growing demand for AI and digital transformation across industries.
