Thanks for sharing your talk. It has given me some good points to consider.

In reply to another commenter, jerdavis, you mentioned that you prefer not to rely on sources that talk their book.

At first that seemed reasonable to me.

Then I started to question who would would be well educated on crypto, willing to make points in favor/defense of it, and not be invested?

Many of the people that would be most qualified to present additional information would be "talking their book". By discounting anyone that falls into that group, it seems to me that you conveniently get to throw out arguments without addressing them. Is this a poor take on my part?

I only started looking into crypto/web3 about 8 months ago and I'm finding it difficult to get a balanced view.

Here I read your take on some aspects of crypto.
Someone else pointed out information that contradicts some of your claims.
Saying they are talking their book doesn't explain what is incorrect, if anything, about the new assertions being presented.

I'm left as lost as if I never read this post at all.
