Victory! Amazon listened and TOGETHER we did it!
YOU DID IT - AMAZON LISTENED AND MADE A MAJOR CHANGE!
After four years, I had all but given up hope that we could ever get a company as big as Amazon to listen but am delighted to share that they did in fact hear us and we accomplished what we set out to do. THANK YOU!
On Friday morning, I got amazing news from Oceana (below) with regards to our effort to get Amazon to rethink its plastic packaging and make meaningful changes in the US. I want to send a huge thank you to all of you who signed and shared and to Oceana who was instrumental in taking this petition over the finish line!
We have a lot to be proud of and have made a huge difference at a massive scale for this planet.

FYI - Amazon announced it will – by the end of this year – replace all plastic air pillows with recycled paper (and that they have already eliminated 95% of air pillows used). They say this will eliminate, on an annual basis, 15 billion plastic pillows a year. It’s significant and means we won! Our report found that – for the global e-commerce plastic packaging market – that protective packaging – which include air pillows – accounted for 35% of all plastic packaging.
