Replays indicate the pitch was located over the outer edge of home plate and above the hollow beneath the knee (px 0.75, pz 1.94 [sz_bot 1.70 / RAD 1.58]), the call was incorrect.* At the time of the ejection, the Royals were leading, 2-1. In the 6th, Royals batter Rave attempted to check his swing on a 1-2 splitter from Blue Jays pitcher Yariel Rodriguez. At the time of the ejection, the Royals were leading, 10-1. The Royals ultimately won the contest, 20-1.
