Sales Operations Analyst
Full-time, Remote Position
Position Overview
Cureus is revolutionizing and democratizing the field of medical research. Our vision is to eliminate the barriers to the generation, curation and dissemination of medical knowledge. We aim to improve the lives of clinicians and researchers by streamlining the academic publishing process and providing advanced options to promote and access the resulting medical breakthroughs.
As our Sales Operations Analyst, you'll drive operational excellence while directly impacting revenue growth. You'll manage comprehensive sales operations from lead to close, handle the full customer lifecycle through renewals and expansion, and empower our sales teams with data-driven insights and tools.
This role combines hands-on operations with strategic account management and sales enablement. Working cross-functionally with sales, marketing, customer success, finance, and leadership teams, you'll streamline processes, analyze performance data, and build scalable systems that support our rapid expansion in medical publishing.
Compensation: $75,000 - $95,000 | Location: Fully Remote (Pacific Time Zone only)
Key Responsibilities
Revenue Operations & Account Growth
- Own the complete revenue cycle from lead tracking and quoting through contract execution and renewal management
- Drive customer retention and expansion by identifying upsell opportunities, coordinating renewal negotiations, and partnering with Customer Success to maximize account value
- Maintain data integrity across all revenue systems and provide accurate reporting to leadership on pipeline health and forecasting
Sales Enablement & Analytics
- Empower the sales team with comprehensive tools, processes, and competitive intelligence while optimizing our HubSpot CRM for maximum adoption and efficiency
- Develop data-driven insights through sales performance dashboards, trend analysis, and conversion metrics that directly inform GTM strategy and business decisions
- Support accurate sales forecasting and provide actionable recommendations to leadership based on pipeline and performance data
Operational Excellence & Automation
- Design and implement scalable processes and automation solutions that increase team productivity
- Streamline repetitive tasks through system optimization while building the operational infrastructure needed for rapid scaling in the medical publishing space
- Partner cross-functionally with Product, Customer Success, and Finance teams to align operational processes with business objectives and ensure seamless customer experience
Required Qualifications
Must-Haves:
- 3+ years in sales operations, account management, or revenue operations
- Advanced Excel skills and CRM proficiency (Salesforce/HubSpot)
- 2+ years remote work experience
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Analytics, or related field
Preferred:
- SaaS or subscription revenue experience
- Healthcare/medical publishing background
Personal Attributes:
- Self-starter with strong analytical skills and experience
- Superb verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
- Highly organized, detail oriented and affinity for multitasking,
- Comfortable with ambiguity and fast-paced environments
- Ability to express ideas to improve and grow the team as we scale

Social Media Marketing Internship

Do you want to help revolutionize and democratize a segment of the medical industry? If so, you’ve come to the right place. Cureus is looking for the right person to assist with our social media efforts. The ideal individual for this role has a strong interest in learning about social media strategy and helping implement daily social media functions across all of our channels: LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, Pinterest, and Reddit. A familiarity with scheduling tools such as later.com is a plus. You should be organized, diligent, and detail focused. This is an unpaid internship that will provide rewarding experience in the social media and medical worlds.
