FISC Mission to Washington, DC and New York
Members of the FISC Subcommittee will travel to Washington, D.C. and New York between 27 and 29 October. The delegation, led by the Chair Pasquale Tridico, will meet with representatives of key institutions, such as the Council of Economic Advisors, the US Department of the Treasury, Congress, and the United Nations, as well as with stakeholders from the private sector, experts and civil society.
EU-US relations in the field of taxation will be a key topic, in particular the G7/G20 side-by-side approach of the OECD's Pillar Two tax reform and the US' GILTI/NCTI minimum corporate tax system. Other topics include the international tax reform at the UN level, EU-UN cooperation, improving tax competitiveness, digital services taxes, and the fight against tax evasion and avoidance.
