Wipro Turbo Interview Experience 2020

Hello everybody. I hope everyone is safe. Before going through the process, let me give you an idea about my degree.

I am a Non-Circuit Branch (Civil Engineering) B.Tech 2021 graduate from NIT Calicut. Wipro came to our campus for Campus Recruitment Drive for the role of PROJECT ENGINEER (Package: 6.5lpa)

PPT & Online Test: They first conducted a Pre-placement Talk(PPT) in the morning followed by an online test in the evening. The platform used was Amcat. The test contains five sections (Quant., Logical, English, Two Coding Questions, and an Essay Writing section).

The aptitude part was pretty easy and can be done very fast. Coding Section was about arrays and trees. I was able to solve only one of the two. By late night we got the shortlist. Out of 174 applied students, 37 were shortlisted for Interviews.

Interview: Technical Round was conducted the next day morning. It was based on my technical skills listed in my Resume. I was asked a few questions on SQL (since it was mentioned in my resume) and some basic programming questions followed by HR questions. It was very easy to get through this round for Non-CS students. Out of 37, 28 students were shortlisted for the HR round.

The second round i.e, HR was very quick for me. It was a 2-minute interaction with HR. He asked for my personal details and asked me to logout.

Result: We got our final results the next day by the evening. Out of 28 shortlisted students, 26 were offered the job and I was one of them.

Status: Selected

Tips:

Once a question is attempted it cannot be modified and no navigation among the sections and among the questions is allowed. (excluding the coding section)
Understand your Resume to the fullest.
The interviewer asks about your knowledge of the company, So it is better to do research before attending the interview.
