Short courses
As a fundamental part of its mission, ISPO has been involved with the coordination and organisation of educational activities for its members since its inception. By conducting ISPO Courses, ISPO provides teaching and training to professionals in the field of prosthetics and orthotics as well as related areas, with a special (but not exclusive) focus on emerging and developing countries. These courses have taken many different forms and continue in their evolution to further the importance of keeping ISPO’s members, and rehabilitation professionals in general, abreast of current issues and professional standards for the care of people with physical disabilities. Short courses can be organised onsite and online.
Onsite/online short courses are by ISPO in coordination with a local organiser. The local organiser could be the local National Member Society (NMS) of ISPO and/or other ISPO partners, training institutions or national/international NGOs.
Webinars
The ISPO CPD Committee organises a series of webinars covering a variety of topics each year. Access to the webinars is free for ISPO members and a minimum fee is charged for non-ISPO members.
