Fellow
Fellowship is a special designation of individual ISPO members that have exceptionally contributed to the ISPO mission and goals by personal achievement, integrity, reputation, and activities on behalf of the Society.
Criteria of ISPO Fellowship
- Contribute significantly to ISPO activities, or to the enhancement of P&O services in general, including advancements in education, training, or research.
- ISPO member for at least 10 years. In exceptional cases it is possible to nominate non-ISPO members for Fellowship.
Nomination Procedure
- Nomination as a Fellow is performed by the individual’s Member Society, according to the Member Society’s policies and protocol, or by any group of five persons on the International Committee.
- Nominators are requested to complete the Fellowship Nomination Form, including an uploaded CV of the suggested candidate.

Emeritus
ISPO members and fellows who have been members in good standing with ISPO for at least fifteen years, and who have reached the age of 65 or have retired from active practice, may apply for emeritus membership with ISPO.
Emeritus members are not required to pay the yearly ISPO membership fee and will continue to receive all benefits that are accorded to ISPO members.
