KT would like to thank everyone who joined us at the African Plant Breeding Association (APBA) meeting and at KT’s annual meeting immediately afterwards, for helping to make these events both successful and enjoyable occasions. 38 KT grantees and students presented in different APBA sessions, and KT’s side event at the APBA conference provided an opportunity to share recent advances in 11 common bean, cowpea, and Bambara groundnut breeding projects. In addition, KT grantees contributed 16 posters to the APBA conference. These activities provided an excellent backdrop for the subsequent review and planning discussions held during KT’s annual meeting.
