How do I access this database?

You do not need a LinkedIn account to access LinkedIn Learning. However, if you have a LinkedIn account associated with your NC State email, you might be prompted to enter your LinkedIn password before you are able to view LinkedIn Learning. (This is most likely different from your Unity password.)

If you don't know your Linkedin password, follow the "forgot password?" instructions on the Linkedin password page to reset your Linkedin password. (You may have to log into your Unity account again after resetting your LinkedIn password.)

Other common issues with LinkedIn Learning

  • If you are logged into LinkedIn with an account that's associated with a personal email address (not your NC State email), you may need to log out of that account to access LinkedIn Learning using the link above.
  • You can connect your LinkedIn and LinkedIn Learning accounts to allow content recommendations, display learning history and certificates. This is not required. To link your LinkedIn and LinkedIn Learning accounts:
    • Log into LinkedIn Learning by following the link on the Libraries' LinkedIn Learning page.
    • Once logged in, select "Me" in the upper right corner of the LinkedIn Learning site, and select "Settings" in the menu to view the Settings page.
    • On the Settings page, follow the directions under the heading "Connect your LinkedIn account to your LinkedIn Learning account provided by your organization" to link your accounts.
    • If you want to disconnect your LinkedIn and LinkedIn Learning accounts, contact [email protected]
