The main thing is what's important and I feel you never know until you test it. So start off with just the necessities with cheaper brands then if something breaks or is getting worn down that proves that it needs to be of good quality.

It is also important to assess the profitability of existing fleet. Vital to ask questions such as - Is the current business trend making our operations profitable ? -Do we have enough manpower to handle additional fleet? - Is there guaranteed business for the additional fleet? -Do we have the resources right now, or will we need to get a facility? - If we get a facility, will the new fleet pay for itself or will it deprive the existing fleet? If these questions are able to e satisfactorily answered, then a decision can be made.

To navigate conflicting opinions, I'd first prioritize the team's objectives and identify the non-negotiables. We'd then evaluate each fleet upgrade option against these priorities. If opinions remain divided, I'd facilitate a negotiation process to find a mutually acceptable solution. This might involve exploring alternative options, compromising on specific features, or phasing the upgrade process. Ultimately, as the leader, I'd make a decision that balances the team's competing interests with the organization's overall goals and objectives. I'd ensure that the team understands the reasoning behind the decision and is committed to implementing the chosen solution.

Check history of units being replaced. High cost units out 1st. Warranty also comes into play but with my experience just because a unit is under Warranty you still experience significant downtime.

To approach different ideas and opinions the best is test must be with appropriate protocols. -Establish main protocols for test ideas/opinions -Establish a CRISTAL CLEAR goal, so ideas must lead by this goal and can get shape with protocols previously established. -In the process, the best is to test firstly the ideas separately, then combined to see how can both ideas/opinions get done the Goal on most clear way. -After tests and with help of feedbacks, Establish a WORKFLOW based on the evidence founded.
