Setting up a seller/buyer dynamic in this scenario is not a good idea in my experience. I have yet to meet an employee that likes to be sold something and doesn't feel run over and unheard when we go car salesman mode on how we talk about change. People are allowed to not like or want a change. We can still do the change and do it well even when that's the case. As humans we do this all the time. That doesn't mean we don't talk about benefits. Please do! Let people know how you're hoping to improve their work life and want to hear feedback throughout the change process. But do it authentically and in the voice of your role, not as the sales guy.
