Get them to do a monotone voiceover of that game where you have to run through gates to do basic arithmetic and pump it full of micro transactions and unskippable ads

Best way to go is by identifying influencers who align with our genre and resonate with their followers, providing exclusive early access to our game for authentic content creation, and hosting interactive livestreams and community events where influencers engage directly with fans to drive genuine excitement and interest.

For now I am developing a psychological horror game called “Sorrowfield”. We have a lot of things to do, I am working with GameLab KBTU to promote my game further, maybe to find publisher or investors.

Something I've seen large scale developers do is give a sponsored copy of the game to TWITCH streamers who enjoy games of a similar nature. For instance if your making a horror game, find someone who plays games like Resident Evil or Dead Space, and enjoys them. Reach out to them about a sponsored stream where they play your game and, hopefully enjoy it while showing it off to their audience who are interested in that sort of game.

Provide. Review code. More people need to start believing in their arts. If the game is well made and polished enough, and considering you've approached the right crowd - meaning an influencer who plays and enjoys games of similar genres and quality, you needn't provide further incentives. Belive in your art.

To promote my game, I’d collaborate with gaming influencers who fit my genre and have engaged audiences. I’d provide early access for exclusive content like Let’s Plays, live streams, and challenges while offering their followers special in-game rewards or referral codes. I’d leverage multiple platforms—Twitch and YouTube for in-depth gameplay, TikTok and Instagram for viral clips, and Discord for community engagement. To maintain long-term interest, I’d build strong relationships with influencers, offering exclusive updates and turning them into brand ambassadors for ongoing promotion.

Currently I'm working with a small team to develop a very small scaled game'd prototype the genre is souls like sword combat heavily inspired from sekiro. So once the demo is done I would be reaching out to people that might be interested in talking about this game on the internet.

Partner with niche influencers whose audience aligns closely with your game's genre. Give them early access and unique content to showcase, like behind-the-scenes dev stories or exclusive in-game items. Boost visibility with interactive streams, giveaways, or challenges. Keep it authentic and fun—gamers can tell when it's genuine!
