This involves: Assess the needs & urgency of each account. Some clients may require more immediate attention due to deadlines, project phases, or challenges they’re facing -Prioritize based on needs. Establish transparent communication about resource allocation with each client to ensure they understand the reasoning behind the distribution of time, budget & attention. Regularly review & adjust resource needs without compromising fairness. Track time spent, budgets used & client feedback to monitor resource distribution. If you have the support of a team, allocate tasks based on individual strengths and expertise, ensuring an even workload distribution. Regardless of the size/ scale of the account, ensure equal access to resources.

While handling multiple client accounts, the apt allocation of resources is the main pain point of the account manager. So, while allocating accounts the resource mapping as per the skills and experience should be done on priority. Matching the right resource with the scope of work of the client account gives the right balance and makes execution fairer and balanced.
