These days I animate mainly 2d animation in Adobe Animate, starting out, I wanted to go straight into 3d animation as a self taught Animator, needless to say that downloading Blender doesn't equate to knowing everything lol 😆😆 I faced so many issues that I had to run away for my health health sake lol 😭😭 Anyways I joined a couple of communities for artists and animator's and learned through taking courses and repeated trials and errors and feedback from my peers. Every error is a step in the right direction

Failure isn't the opposite of success, it's the foundation. My 'Hall of Shame' folder (glitchy animations, broken mechanics) taught me more than any tutorial. Each error is a diagnostic tool: a janky walk cycle reveals weight issues, a bugged checkpoint exposes flawed logic. In my current UE5 project, 47 iterations improved cameras, UI, and gameplay. This applies everywhere, animation, coding, storytelling. Progress spirals upward through accumulated mistakes. The work in my portfolio exists because of hundreds of discarded attempts. Uma pessoa perfeccionista ou autocrítica tem dificuldade em abraçar seus erros pois a busca da perfeição idealizada se torna frustada diante do erro. Houve momentos em que tive enfrentar bloqueio criativo, saber lidar requer boa vontade e paciência.

Before you analyze anything, you need sources, make friends in forums, Instagram, Discord, or any place you can find actually professionals who can give you critiques of your work. Take it professionally. Usually, people are very nice about it and not personally.

Às vezes sinto falta de materiais relacionados a esse assunto. Sem dúvidas, ouvir e observar nos permite aprimorar na área de trabalho.

I remember starting out and doing trials based on my own understanding of animation lol 😆😜😆🤣 I didn't get anywhere, then I got a couple of courses and started practicing key framing over and over and over, squish and squash too, I have a hard drive filled with practice files lol 😂😆😂 but here I am today, a semi Master lol

In my animation, I added movement to a little creature inside a bottle, but I think one thing I could improve is how natural that motion feels. Right now, the movement is a bit too smooth and even, which can come off kind of robotic. I want to go back and add easing, so the motion has more variation—like starting slow, speeding up, then slowing down again. I’m also planning to add a bit of bounce or squish to make the creature feel more alive and expressive.

Reflect on your progress, meaning, every couple of months or at the end of every year, put everything you did on a timeline, make it a yearly reel, in a couple years you gonna see progress, it's hard to see a fast development if you just starting.
