Classrooms are made up of multiple students, and considering that each person has their own way of learning, there are always different needs to be addressed within the classroom. One of the most effective approaches is collecting data to promote pedagogical differentiation through heterogeneous groupings, fostering peer learning.

When faced with a time crunch in such situations, the following is the plan that a teacher or professor can follow: 1. Schedule your work and pre-inform the students about the time when they can assess you. 2. Prioritize among multiple students, the students who need immediate support and give different time slot to the ones whose work can be delayed. 3. Have a separate scheduled lecture for query handling, where students can discuss their issues. 4. Alternatively on free you schedule an online class, where they can discuss the issue. 5. If too busy in work, then ask the students to write down their queries on paper, or text it. Then you can mix and match the same queries and organize meets accordingly.

When multiple students need support, prioritize by assessing urgency and complexity, addressing those with immediate deadlines or foundational struggles first. Group students with similar questions to save time and foster peer learning. Encourage collaboration by having students work together while you rotate to assist. Direct less urgent issues to office hours or online resources. Set time limits for individual help, ensuring everyone gets attention. Handle quick questions first and schedule follow-ups for more complex issues. Promote self-reliance by asking students to explain their thought process before intervening. Rotate through students, offering brief guidance to ensure all feel supported.

Prioritizing time when multiple students need individual support requires strategic decision-making to ensure effectiveness and fairness, as follows : 1.Assess urgency and impact. 2.Address most critical or time-sensitive issues first, like exam preparation, deadlines. 3.Evaluate potential impact of support on student's progress. 4.Group common needs. 5.Follow up individually, if needed. 6.Communicate timelines and prioritize, based on availability. 7.Share relevant resources for issues that don't need direct intervention. 8.Involve teaching assistants to provide interim support. 9.Use a structured system like appointment scheduling to ensure fairness. 10.Encourage students to attempt solutions independently before seeking help.

Being in the Higher Education Sector for about 25 years now, I have come across students with multiple needs and concerns. Thankfully, I can deal with students on a one-to-one basis. I list out the tasks on my to-do list for the day/ week and then assign them a time slot. I advise them to visit me & share their concerns. I am also well-prepared to listen to them. Students love it when someone is willing to hear them out. Additionally, a day in a week is set aside to address student concerns, which can range from anything academic to personal, decision-making, health or career conversations. I also follow-up with them. I have been able to counsel many students during my career, and this method has successfully worked for my students & me.

Classrooms are a classic example of homogeneity in heterogeneity. Each student is different yet at times, the teachers do not change their pedagogy. It's essential to know the learning style of each learner. If paucity of time is a hindrance, peer learning is a best way to reach out to each student. Flipped teaching is another concrete option as the gaps can be bridged in the class. Dividing class in a manner so as not to hurt the sensitivity of each learner, varied tasks can be assigned and scaffolding done subsequently. Every teacher faces this in her Classroom and preparedness is the only solution

In a bid to prioritize my time while supporting multiple students, I mostly use train the trainer method among other techniques. In this method, I fix one on one training research, use of software, responding to reviewers comments, etc for the best brains among my students and they will in turn assist in guiding other students.

Individual students’ support is certainly needed at certain points of time within a school program . It becomes a bit difficult when you are supposed to deal with multiple students whose needs are different. In this case you may need to follow these steps : 1. You need first to design a short questionnaire to assess their needs. 2. Once data is collected you need to prioritize needs and requirements in terms of urgency. 3. You may find that a number of students,up to three students, have the same needs . This may make your job easier in terms of time. 4 . Once you dealt with their needs you may need to assess how successful were you in solving their needs and problems.
