📢Launched! "World Bank Recommendations: Driving Nutrition Impact at Scale" on behalf of the MDB Nutrition Financing Advocacy Coalition. Despite progress, malnutrition remains one of the world’s most urgent and deadly public health challenges. As one of the largest funders of nutrition, the Bank has both the responsibility and opportunity to embed nutrition across its priorities—from universal health coverage and social protection to jobs and human capital. The Multilateral Development Bank Nutrition Financing Advocacy Coalition has outlined key priorities to drive impact at scale: increasing and tracking nutrition financing, strengthening people-centered policies and accountability, and ensuring nutrition is fully integrated across the Bank’s commitments. Together, we aim to keep nutrition at the forefront of the global development agenda. 👉Read our full recommendations here: https://lnkd.in/eMEq5dMj

Malnutrition remains one of the most urgent and solvable threats to child survival and healthy development in low- and middle-income countries. Despite decades of evidence showing their effectiveness, community health workers, a key part of the response to this crisis, remain undervalued, under-supported, and frequently left out of national health systems. These dedicated and crucial workers are held back by chronic funding gaps and a lack of political commitment. A new report, coauthored by Results Canada and the Community Health Impact Coalition (CHIC), provides the research, voices, and recommendations that can help unlock the solution, one household and one child at a time.
