Employees at our plant in Curitiba, Brazil built a kitchen at CIEC (Center for Sports and Cultural Integration), a non-profit organization that serves local children. Watch below to see the new kitchen:
Tem momentos que nos transformam. Esse foi um deles. Na Planta da Adient em Curitiba, tivemos a oportunidade de realizar algo que vai muito além da produção: construímos uma cozinha no CIEC (Centro de Integração Esportiva e Cultural), uma organização sem fins lucrativos que atende mais de 230 crianças e adolescentes em situação de vulnerabilidade. O que antes era apenas um terreno vazio atrás do galpão, hoje é um espaço de esperança. Uma cozinha onde são feitos pães para venda, uma fonte de sustento que ajuda a manter o CIEC funcionando e impactando vidas. Em meus 19 anos de Adient, nunca vivi algo tão especial. Ver o sorriso das crianças, sentir o abraço sincero, ouvir o “obrigado” vindo do coração... foi como recarregar a alma. Me senti privilegiado. Renovado. Sou grato à direção executiva da Adient América do Sul, aos líderes que acreditaram nesse projeto, e ao meu time, que esteve presente em cada passo dessa jornada.
