Two Years After Florida’s Insurance Reforms, the report card and stats are as follows: 🔹 More Denials – In 2024, insurers closed nearly 47% of claims with no payment, up from 40% in 2022. 🔹 Premium Pressure – Average homeowners’ costs remain 2–5x the national average ($4,300–$15,460 in Florida vs. ~$2,000 nationwide). 🔹 Mixed Results on Litigation – Lawsuits ticked up slightly on denied claims (12.9% vs. 12.4%). In short: carriers are scrutinizing more claims, while homeowners still face steep costs. One of the reform's stated intent was to reduce litigation, but it appears that is not successful. Is the reform merely emboldening the carriers, or, is it allowing the carriers to dismiss the frivolous claims? Regardless of the answer, the bar has been raised. Working the claims process with professionals that have the experience and know how to comply is as important as ever. At All Claims Repairs, we’ve seen firsthand how policyholders, adjusters, and agents can succeed in this tougher environment. Our latest blog breaks down best practices, including: ✅ Timely action (file and document damage quickly) ✅ AOB compliance (clear disclosures + detailed estimates) ✅ Collaboration (keep all parties aligned from the start) ✅ Expertise (lean on experienced Florida professionals) 👉 Read the full article here: https://lnkd.in/gNaxfS2A What’s your experience since the reforms? 💧 Water damage doesn’t wait—and neither should the response. What starts as a small leak can turn into a costly claim, a lengthy dispute, or even a lost policyholder. Yet delayed mitigation is still far too common. We just published a quick-read article that highlights what really happens when water damage restoration is delayed—backed by field experience, real-world cost impacts, and why “wait and see” is the riskiest option of all. 📉 Higher claim costs ⚖️ More legal disputes 🧾 Friction with insureds 🕒 Regulatory headaches This one’s especially relevant for anyone involved in property claims—whether you’re adjusting, underwriting, or litigating. https://lnkd.in/gTHZZHUE

🔎 2025 Hurricane Season Forecast: What the Experts Say (All in One Place) If you’re in restoration, insurance, or property management, you’ve probably seen several different hurricane forecasts already this year. We decided to cut through the noise and aggregate the expert predictions into one place—then compare them to historical averages for context. Here’s what we found: 📊 2025 Forecast Consensus (Averaged Across NOAA, CSU, TSR, and others): • Named Storms: 16 • Hurricanes: 8 • Major Hurricanes (Category 3+): 3.5 📉 Historical Average (1991–2020 baseline): • Named Storms: 14.4 • Hurricanes: 7.2 • Major Hurricanes: 3.2 ✅ Takeaway: 2025 is forecasted to be above average, but not record-breaking. The bigger story? Rising denial rates, labor constraints, and supply chain pressures mean preparedness is about more than storm counts. At All Claims, we help insurers, attorneys, and property professionals plan ahead and resolve claims with speed and clarity—through expert appraisals, umpire services, and courtroom-ready contractor testimony. 🔗 Learn more: www.allclaimsrepairs.com 📩 Have questions or want to discuss how we can support you this season?
