ICYMI: On CNBC's Fortt Knox, our CEO and Co-Founder, Evan Smith, discussed U.S. Customs and Border Protection selecting Altana Product Passports to power a Global Entry program for goods. "Product Passports make it possible for an importer to say, 'here's the whole origin story of my products,'" Evan told host Jon Fortt. "This gives regulators a new way to adjudicate, review, and screen imports — pre-clearing shipments before they reach the border and focusing enforcement to meet a changing trade policy landscape." ➡️ Watch the full interview for more: https://lnkd.in/eZuYWvbR

Our CEO and Co-Founder, Evan Smith, gave a live update to CNBC's Jon Fortt about U.S. Customs and Border Protection selecting Altana Product Passports to power a Global Entry program for goods. Evan and Jon discussed a real example of an importer that avoided tens of millions of dollars of fees and costs by sharing Product Passports with CBP to pre-validate shipments of previously detained apparel goods. "Product Passports make it possible for an importer to say, 'here's the whole origin story of my products,'" said Evan. "This gives regulators a new way to adjudicate, review, and screen imports — pre-clearing shipments before they reach the border and focusing enforcement to meet a changing trade policy landscape." ➡️ Watch the full interview: https://lnkd.in/eZuYWvbR
