A year after Hurricane Helene devastated Western Carolina, the region has come a long way, and we're honored to return to Asheville for the NCEDA Fall Conference. Daniel Warrick, P.E., will join fellow economic development professionals to exchange ideas that uplift and strengthen communities across North Carolina. If you plan on attending, keep an eye out for Dan — and we hope to see you there as we celebrate growth, connection, and the future of economic development in North Carolina. #NCEDA2025 #BGEWay

🏗️ BGE’s Sarasota Office is proud to have supported the development of Heroes’ Village—Sarasota’s first affordable housing community dedicated exclusively to veterans. With civil engineering design, permitting, and construction phase services, our team helped transform a vision into a lasting resource for those who served. By optimizing site layout and streamlining regulatory approvals, we collaborated closely with municipal leaders, developers, and nonprofit partners to deliver infrastructure that supports long-term affordability and operational resilience. Heroes’ Village is a clear example of how technical precision and mission-aligned execution can address urgent housing needs, and we're honored to have played a role in laying the groundwork for this impactful initiative. We're proud to spotlight Emily Petrosky, PE, for her recent appointment to the 2025-26 Texas State MATHCOUNTS Committee! Emily's dedication to STEM education and professional service has been unwavering. After four impactful years as Travis Chapter Coordinator — where she hosted three in-person competitions and collaborated with fellow BGE teammates Elena Ramon and Imani Elston — she now steps into a statewide leadership role supporting Region III chapter coordinators and organizing the Texas MATHCOUNTS competition. Her three-year term will help shape a platform where middle school students across Texas can showcase their mathematical talents in a dynamic and inspiring environment. Emily's involvement is more than a personal milestone — it's a reflection of BGE's commitment to leadership, community engagement, and investing in the next generation of engineers and innovators. Through her volunteer work, she's building bridges between professional engineers in TSPE and the bright young minds who will one day lead our industry. 🎉Congratulations, Emily! Your impact continues to elevate and inspire those around you. Learn more here: https://lnkd.in/g3Ya-F_6

As part of our "50 for 50" celebration, BGE teammates from our Katy office brought their A-game to the Westchase District Corporate Challenge — a high-energy event that's been supporting local charities and Champ Quillian scholarships since 1998. The day was packed with action: rock climbing, soccer, football, kickball, and the fan-favorite briefcase relay. And guess what? BGE snagged 2nd place in kickball! We're proud of our team for showing up, showing out, and making a difference — all while having a blast! #BGE50for50 #BGEWay

Big walls, big impact. If you've driven along I-35 lately, you've seen the massive noise walls going up—and yes, we designed them. These structures mark the start of TxDOT’s I-35 CapEx Central drainage tunnel project, and we’re proud to have played a role in shaping this transformation. Even better? Our work just took home a Silver award for design excellence. From East Cesar Chavez to Airport Blvd, this project is changing the corridor—and we’re honored to be part of it. 📍 Learn more about the project: https://lnkd.in/g4vdeyTd #I35CapEx #BGEWay
