On September 26, 2025, a sudden two-inch downpour caused nearly six feet of water to flood a low-lying area of Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport’s Sky Train guideway, suspending operations and rerouting over 20,000 passengers. That’s when Capital Pump & Equipment stepped in. Our team mobilized pumps, vac trucks, and tankers late on a Friday evening, quickly removing the water and restoring operations. Hours of disruption that could have cost millions and impacted tens of thousands of travelers were averted.
