Their voices remind us of the lasting impact these schools have and why this event is so important. This year, we are excited to spotlight Daryl Johnson Jr., WJA Class of 2017, and London Hall, WSG Class of 2015. Last week, our Chief Development Officer, Austen Holderness, spoke at the 2025 Bisnow DMV Office Summit on the panel “What’s Next for Office Assets: Conversion, Redevelopment & Creative Reuse.” Austen joined industry leaders to explore how repositioning office assets goes far beyond office-to-residential conversions. From partial redevelopments to full-scale transformations, the conversation emphasized creative strategies for unlocking value in underutilized properties—and the critical role local governments play in enabling these efforts. Austen spotlighted Carr’s residential growth through new developments like 425 Montgomery in Alexandria, VA and 3033 Wilson in Clarendon, VA. These projects reflect our commitment to meeting evolving market demand while building vibrant communities. Last week, we proudly continued our annual tradition of hosting 7th and 8th grade students from Washington Jesuit Academy and Washington School for Girls for a field trip at The Wilson in Bethesda, MD. Students participated in a guided building tour led by Carr leadership and department heads, offering students a behind-the-scenes look at the day-to-day at a trophy office building.
