At #COP30, we are powering the Social Innovation House to gather changemakers who are shaping the future of climate action and exploring what real inclusion looks like in the race for a sustainable planet. This space will serve as a bridge between the people protecting the world’s lungs and those designing its policies. These spotlighting solutions prove that systems change begins when local knowledge, innovation, and global solidarity meet. Over two days, the program will dive into some of the most pressing questions shaping the future of climate justice: ✅ How can systemic investing and multicapital finance unlock sustainable business models across the Amazon? ✅ How do we translate climate commitments into community-led impact that lasts? ✅ What can emerge when tradition and science work together to guide fire management and resilience? ✅ Where do governance gaps and coordination challenges hold us back — and how can collective action close them? ✅ How can children and youth reimagine peaceful, healthy futures grounded in ecological balance and justice? Through these conversations, we will catalyze connections, collaborations, surface policy ideas, and activate learning exchanges that endure long after COP30 ends. In November, we will bring the Social Innovation House to #COP30 in Belém, Brazil. This will be a collaborative space for leading voices, Indigenous leaders, social and climate innovators, and founders to forge innovative climate solutions. On 12, from 9:30 am to 11:00 am (Belém Time), we will host Systemic Investing and Multicapital Approaches for Sustainable Businesses in the Amazon. This session will explore how finance, ancestral knowledge, and creativity can drive new solutions for climate resilience.  On November 13, from 8:00 am to 12:00 pm, we will host Gathering Around the Fire. Through conversations, ceremonies, and cultural expressions, participants will explore the relationship between fire, life, and territory, bridging ancestral wisdom and scientific innovation.  On November 17, from 5:00 pm to 6:00 pm, we will host Youth Visions of Peaceful & Healthy Futures at the World Health Organization Health Pavilion (Blue Zone). This creative forum aims to link youth movements and global institutions through art, music, film, and storytelling to reimagine wellbeing in a changing climate. We're excited to announce our participation in #COP30 and to promote the House of Social Innovation in partnership with the Amazon (Rainforest) Investor Coalition, CESUPA, umgrauemeio, Terra Brasilis Consulting and Clean Air Fund. COP30 Brazil seeks to align all stakeholders to generate systemic change that conserves ecosystems and protects the communities that depend on them. The Social Innovation House Asia-Pacific Summit, held in Fukuoka, Japan, on 9 and 10 October, brought together changemakers, innovators, and social entrepreneurs. The meeting proved to be a platform for strengthening collaboration among networks in countries such as Japan, Malaysia, Hong Kong, and India, consolidating strategic alliances (including the one established with the Fukuoka Government), all of which are aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals (#SDGs). The Summit focused on co-creation and constructive dialogue, exploring essential themes: youth resilience, enabling the future through education, and building solid ecosystems to generate real social impact. We featured the inspiring vision of high-level leaders, such as the Buddhist monk Shoukei Matsumoto, and key experts from international organizations like UN-Habitat (United Nations Human Settlements Programme) and the Women's Federation for World Peace International. One of the achievements was the intensive Co-creation sprint, during which participants implemented the Collaboration Solutions Lab (CSL) methodology. This practical exercise focused on two urgent regional challenges: 🔹Aging Population in East Asia: Exploring models of intergenerational support and community health. 🔹Youth Resilience and Participation: Developing ideas to empower young changemakers. Once again, we demonstrated that innovation and collaboration are key to systemic change. Day 5 of CCW2025 and we're focusing on Innovation in Education! Current statistics indicate that 272 million children and young people worldwide remain out of school. Furthermore, there is an apparent demand for pedagogical evolution, as 62% of parents believe that new forms of assessment are necessary, moving beyond traditional exams. This urgency is compounded by the professional outlook, where 67% of teachers think students will be inadequately prepared for the job market without the right digital tools and skills. Driven by this data, our session will discuss how innovation in education is transforming new generations and how social innovators are adapting educational models to tackle global challenges. We aim to explore how to make education systems more aligned with the needs of new generations, emerging technologies, and the rapid changes that define our future. On Day 4 of CCW2025, we focus on Civic Participation, Peace and Justice, and supporting Refugees and Migrants. In 2024, 61 armed conflicts were registered across 36 countries, contributing to a staggering 42.7 million refugees and 73.5 million internally displaced persons (IDPs) worldwide. More than 50% of refugees are sheltered in neighboring countries. Social innovators contribute by creating more inclusive civic spaces and addressing the root causes to build sustainable, systemic change. During the day, we will examine how social innovators engage with communities to restore social structures and offer alternatives that promote lasting peace, while championing systemic solutions for the protection and integration of vulnerable populations.
