🤝 Exciting news: GRIOS - Global Research Initiative on Open Science is proud to join the founding group of the Metascience Alliance, a global network for coordination, collaboration, and community building in metascience, which was launched today during the #Metascience2025 conference by Tim Errington, Center for Open Science. The Metascience Alliance brings together researchers, funders, institutions, publishers, policymakers, infrastructure providers, entrepreneurs, and others working to strengthen how science is conducted, evaluated, and communicated. This partnership perfectly aligns with GRIOS's mission to support and enhance the global research-on-Open-Science community. By joining forces with the metascience community, we can better understand what interventions actually work and build more robust foundations for evidence-based policy decisions. Open science is careful, collaborative, and built to last. At ABSL, we believe research should be transparent, testable, and shared—not just for other scientists, but for the public it hopes to serve. That’s why we support the work of the TOP (Transparency and Openness Promotion) Guidelines, an initiative from the Center for Open Science that helps researchers and journals adopt stronger standards for reproducibility and transparency. ABSL Director Dr. Hans Rocha IJzerman has been at the forefront of open science reform for over a decade, championing practices that make behavioral science more rigorous and trustworthy. As a member of the TOP Advisory Board, he contributes to global efforts to improve how science is done and shared. 📣 The TOP Advisory Board is now accepting applications for new members! 📣 If you're passionate about transparency, reproducibility, and better research culture, this is a meaningful way to get involved. 🔗 Call for new members (Deadline: July 14): https://lnkd.in/eawVzcQP 🔗 Learn more about the updated TOP Guidelines: https://lnkd.in/gfkpSDkM Because small shifts in how we publish can lead to lasting change in how we learn. #OpenScience #TOPFactor #Reproducibility #SciencePolicy #BehavioralScience #ABSL #Transparency #ResearchCulture #TOPGuidelines #CenterForOpenScience

The Justice Innovation Lab— a nonprofit that works to create a more equitable and fair criminal justice system through data-informed, community-centered solutions— uses OSF to preregister randomized controlled trials (RCTs) and improve transparency in policy-relevant research. In our recent Q&A, Chief Implementation Officer Rory Pulvino shared how OSF helps JIL strengthen the rigor of prosecutorial policy evaluations, support collaboration across partners, and align with growing calls for open and accountable research in the public sector. 🔗 Read the interview: https://lnkd.in/e-txJF3r
