Happy World Elephant Day! Today we honor World Elephant Day by celebrating our ongoing partnership with Elephant Family, whose mission supports peaceful coexistence between people and wildlife. Our new Lip Crème collection supports the conservation work of Elephant Family, working to conserve Asia’s wildlife - particularly its endangered elephants who live outside of official protected areas - and enable successful coexistence between humans and all living things. The first initiative that proceeds will go towards is The Great Elephant Migration. The Great Elephant Migration is a one-of-a-kind public art and fundraising campaign featuring 100 life-sized elephant sculptures, handcrafted from invasive Lanata camara by The Real Elephant Collection, 200 Indigenous artisans in India’s Nilgiris Biosphere Reserve. Each sculpture is modelled and named after a real-life elephant living alongside the artisans. The migration has raised over $2.5 million and counting to power human–wildlife coexistence projects, aligning with our Beauty with Impact mission to create products and experiences that give back to the planet and its wildlife.
