Excited about this new journal that emphasizes the multi-disciplinary nature of the circular economy and centralizes discussions/questions/visions around it. When The REPRODUCE Laboratory was founded 5 years ago, it was with the intent to move the needle on end-of-life materials as process inputs (just as Nature intended and Elton John once sang). The journal builds on the excellent work in the area by our flagship journals Chem by Cell Press, One Earth by Cell Press, Joule by Cell Press, and Matter by Cell Press over the past decade. Chem Circularity spotlights innovations that move toward closed-loop solutions across chemistry, engineering, materials science, biotechnology and beyond. We hope to connect academia, industry, and government to drive advances in reduction, redesign, reuse, recycling, and responsible production and consumption.
