The 2Zero (Towards Zero Emission Road Transport) is a key European initiative promoting 1pre-competitive research and innovation in sustainable mobility. Its mission is to drive the transition toward a climate-neutral road transport system across Europe. In line with the EU Green Deal and the Sustainable and Smart Mobility Strategy, 2Zero supports not only environmental goals like zero tailpipe emissions but also economic growth, job creation, and European tech leadership in the transport sector. Covering all vehicle types, from cars and buses to two-wheelers and innovative new concepts, 2Zero works across four key pillars: 1. Advanced vehicle technologies (BEV & FCEV) 2. Energy system integration & charging infrastructure 3. Zero-emission mobility solutions for people and goods 4. Life cycle & circular economy approaches Through a system-level perspective, 2Zero builds on the legacy of successful platforms like EGCI and EGVI while charting the course toward a clean, competitive future for road transport in the EU. 📢 On Monday, June 30th, we held our 10th General Assembly of the HELIOS_H2020 Project, bringing together all partners to reflect on recent technical progress and align on key outcomes and achievements. A major topic of discussion was the organisation of our Final Conference, which is tentatively scheduled for December 2025. This important event will serve as a platform to present the results of the project and engage with key stakeholders and the Collabat - Cluster of H2020 Battery Projects, who will be invited to contribute and participate in the dialogue.🔋🔌 ⚡As we approach the end of the project, stay tuned for updates on the conference agenda, date, and location. We're proud to share that the InnoBMS project held its first online Advisory Board workshop, marking a key step towards smarter battery management systems! Key highlights: 🔹 Bosch Romania presented BMS architecture, V2G integration, and use cases. 🔹 AVL shared insights on data management protocols. 🔹 FPT Industrial introduced the E/E layout concept for implementation.
