Funders play a pivotal role in shaping how research information is recorded, shared, and reused. Through the Barcelona Declaration, signatories are working together to turn shared principles into coordinated action. One example is Working Group 3 on funding metadata, which brings together funders, publishers, and service providers to explore ways to improve the availability and interoperability of grant information.
