Scholarly blogs are more than commentary; they're part of the research ecosystem. We are registering DOIs and #metadata for blog posts, making them discoverable, citable, and preserved for the long term. Here's how we're doing it and why it matters: 👉 https://lnkd.in/ePivWQPZ #Metadata #OpenScience #ResearchNexus

Welcome Wellcome! 🤝 Wellcome Trust is the first UK funder to sign the Barcelona Declaration on Open Research Information, strengthening the shared commitment of the Barcelona Declaration community to make research information open. Funders play a pivotal role in shaping how research information is recorded, shared, and reused. Through the Barcelona Declaration, signatories are working together to turn shared principles into coordinated action. One example is Working Group 3 on funding metadata, which brings together funders, publishers, and service providers to explore ways to improve the availability and interoperability of grant information. Wellcome Trust signature adds further weight to the growing alignment among research funders 💪 👉 Interested in learning more about the funders supporting the Declaration? https://lnkd.in/dehuwbvH #OpenResearchInfo #WellcomeTrust #BarcelonaDeclaration #OpenScience #ResearchMetadata
