As the school year kicks off and classrooms fill with energy and excitement, there's an incredible organization working behind the scenes to make sure every student and teacher has the supplies they need to succeed — The Education Partnership. This amazing nonprofit provides 100% donated school supplies year-round through their Teacher Resource Center, helping educators focus on what matters most: teaching and inspiring young minds. We at DLC had the privilege of volunteering with them, helping organize supplies and support their mission. Want to get involved? Whether it’s donating school supplies or making a contribution, every bit helps: https://lnkd.in/ecuwnSW.

In celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month, we teamed up with the Pittsburgh Pirates for the Clemente Day of Service — honoring Roberto Clemente’s legacy through community impact. As Clemente said: “Any time you have an opportunity to make a difference in this world and you don’t, then you are wasting your time on Earth.” Thank you to everyone who helped us uplift Hispanic and Latino heritage.

DLC welcomed former FERC Chair Mark C. Christie to Pittsburgh this week to discuss the critical role of electric utilities in the current energy landscape. Leaders from the company highlighted areas for continued collaboration with policymakers and regulators regarding the long-term economic health of our region. Conversations focused on collective efforts to ensure a sufficient supply of electricity for our customers with near-term increases in demand from data centers driving a potential gap. Chairman Christie also had the opportunity to visit DLC’s state-of-the-art Operations Center, where employees offered first-hand insights into new technologies that are driving better performance. As an added bonus, we learned that Chairman Christie is a Pirates fan and were pleased to share some Pittsburgh pride!
