"Defining airworthy is a bit like describing a house we want to buy. The roof doesn’t leak, but it’s in poor shape. One person will say it’s fine, and another may say it needs to be replaced. The stairs are functional, but the carpet is bare. Is the house okay? Maybe yes. Maybe no." In a recent column for EAA Sport Aviation, contributor Lisa Turner gives us a few tips for making — and keeping — our aircraft “airworthy.” Read here: https://lnkd.in/ggaxccAT

Of the thousands of aircraft that come to Oshkosh for EAA's annual convention, some aren't quite like the others. These flying machines come from everywhere but factories, having been constructed in hangars, garages, sheds, basements, sometimes even on kitchen tables. While there's no way to fully cover the entire field of E-AB aircraft that attend Oshkosh, here's a brief look into a few of the highlights in the Homebuilts area at EAA AirVenture 2025. #AirVenture #aircraft #aviation #homebuiltaircraft #OSH25 #Oshkosh
