  Today marks an exciting milestone — the close of eBay’s acquisition of Tise.   When we first invested in Tise, I met a team and a platform that were redefining the consumer-to-consumer (C2C) experience — making resale fun, easy, and inspiring. That mission feels even more powerful today, as we officially join forces.   Together, we will strengthen eBay’s global C2C expertise, deepen our connection with Gen Z enthusiasts, and unlock new opportunities for innovation and growth.   I want to thank the incredible teams across eBay and Tise whose dedication and collaboration brought us to this moment. AI is reshaping the economy and eBay is all-in. Today we launched a new program with OpenAI in the UK - #eBayAIActivate. Designed to put world-class AI tools into the hands of 10,000 small British businesses by the end of this year. Together with access to OpenAI’s enterprise tooling, we’ll be providing ongoing hands-on training in the use of AI agents, and our team of AI engineers will be continuously rolling new custom #agents based on feedback from our UK seller community. With the tectonic shift that AI is bringing about in virtually every industry, we have a generational opportunity to reimagine how people buy and sell at eBay right now, leveraging our three decades of marketplace data. With eBay AI Activate, I’m proud we’re extending that vision to small businesses, ensuring they have the same level of access to state-of-the-art tools and training, as the biggest retailers have, in order to compete, innovate and grow in the AI era. This program is pioneering. While there's been a lot of discussion of AI for employee productivity, with this program we’re enabling our entrepreneur community in the UK to leverage AI in everything they do, not only on eBay but off eBay as well! Today is a special day for eBay, as we announced that eBay has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire Tise, a consumer-to-consumer (C2C) social marketplace headquartered in Oslo, Norway. The acquisition will strengthen eBay’s global proposition in C2C, building on the significant momentum we’ve made in elevating the customer experience. Tise’s social-first, highly intuitive platform will open the door to a vibrant community of Gen Z and Millennial enthusiasts. And together, we will accelerate Tise’s strategy, unlocking new opportunities for innovation. I am confident that Tise’s on-trend inventory, loyal community, and social-first approach, will enrich eBay’s C2C offerings, allowing us to more deeply connect with the next generation of enthusiasts. I look forward to welcoming the Tise team to eBay upon the close of the transaction, which we expect to occur by the end of the fourth quarter of 2025.
